=======================================

Dear colleague,

We would like to remind you that the deadline to submit an abstract for the Workshop or School is the 15th of May (NEXT WEEK!). In the registration process you will be asked if you will participate in the different events, you must answer "yes" or "no". In case you answer "yes", you will be asked wether you want to be just a "participant" or wether you want to present a "poster" or "speaker" (talk). If you click on "poster" or "speaker" a new (redundant) question will appear asking if you want to apply to present your work. You must click "yes" and then you will be able to insert your title and abstract. For those who have already registered, it is important that you specify wether you want to present a poster ("poster") or a talk ("speaker").

Registration:

The price of the registration for the Workshop (first week) will be 270 R$ (120 US$ approx.) for academic staff and postdocs and 170 R$ (75 US$ approx.) for undergraduate, master or PhD students. This price includes the conference dinner on Thursday night. If you register for the Workshop, the registration for the School and Young Researcher Days (second week) will be free of cost. If you plan on only attending the second week, the registration fee will be 30 R$. All participants, independently of recieving financial support from the workshop or not, must pay the registration fee upon arrival in São Carlos.

Shuttle Service:

If you plan on using the Shuttle Service (bus or car) which will be provided by the Organization from the airports of Guarulhos (São Paulo) and Viracopos (Campinas) on the weekends before and after the Workshop, it is important that you fill in your arrival and departure dates and times in the registration. More information about the bus departures will be given in the next announcement, once we have your arrival times. This transport will be payed separately by any participant who wants to use it. Information on how to get to São Carlos by public transportation will appear soon in the webpage of the event.

Financial support:

To apply for financial support from the Organization it is mandatory that you fill in the regsitration, submit your abstract and click on the option "I declare that I didn't manage to get funding for local expenses" before the 15th of May. We still haven't recieved answers from all our grant applications so we cannot guarantee that we will have enough money to cover local expenses for all who ask for it so we recommend that if you can get funding from any other place, you use it and click on the option "I declare that I have funding for local expenses".

As usual, please resend this to anyone who might be interested and sorry for cross-posting! We hope to see you all soon in São Carlos,

Ana Claudia Nabarro and Raúl Oset Sinha (on behalf of the Organizing Committee).
