=======================================

Dear colleague,

The workshop is now close and we want to give you some useful information. The programmes of the workshop
and the school can now be found in the webage (http://worksing.icmc.usp.br/main_site/2014/), in the
PROGRAMME section.

Registration:

The price of the registration for the Workshop (first week) will be 270 R$ (120 US$ approx.) for academic
staff and postdocs and 170 R$ (75 US$ approx.) for undergraduate, master or PhD students. This price
includes the conference dinner on Thursday night. If you register for the Workshop, the registration for
the School and Young Researcher Days (second week) will be free of cost. If you plan on only attending the
second week, the registration fee will be 30 R$. All participants, independently of recieving financial
support from the workshop or not, must pay the registration fee upon arrival in São Carlos.

On Sunday 27th July you will be able to register for the conference between 17:00 and 19:00 at the
reception of Hotel Anacã, otherwise, registration will take place at the conference venue on Monday morning.

On Wednesday we will hold the traditional Churrasco (Brazilian barbacue) for lunch at a price of 60 R$
which can be payed together with the registration.

Shuttle Service:

In the section GENERAL INFORMATION of the webpage you can find a document with the cars or vans provided by
the Organization from the airports of Guarulhos (São Paulo) and Viracopos (Campinas) on the weekend before
the Workshop, together with the names of the people expected in each car or van (please check that your
arrival time is coherent with the car or van you were assigned to having in mind that it may take up to 1
hour from the arrival time until you are past immigration and with your luggage). If you wish to use one of
these transportations and your name does not appear in the list, please get in touch with us through the
following email address: miriamsp27@gmail.com. This transport will be payed separately by any participant
who wants to use it. Information on how to get to São Carlos by public transportation can be found in the
webpage of the event.

Financial support:

All participants who are presenting their work (talk or poster) and clicked on the option "I declare that I
didn't manage to get funding for local expenses" in the registration form will obtain some financial
support from the Organization. If you clicked on that button but did not apply to present your work and
still expect some partial financial support, it is still possible to present a poster either during the
Workshop or the Young researcher's days on the second week. Once you enter your poster information on the
registration form, please get in touch with us. However we cannot guarantee that we will be able to give
financial support in this case.

As usual, please resend this to anyone who might be interested and sorry for cross-posting! We hope to see
you all soon in São Carlos,

Raúl Oset Sinha and Ana Claudia Nabarro (on behalf of the Organizing Committee).
